    The Department of Assamese has been an integral part of Mushalpur College since its inception in 1993.

    The Department of ENGLISH has been an integral part of the college since its inception. Established in 1993, the Department of English has been providing knowledge on British Literature, American Literature, Comparative Literature, Indian-English Literature, Linguistics & Stylistics and ELT through teaching of language and Literature amongst the Learner.

BODO

    The department of 'Bodo' established in 1993 while the college was started. The department is one of the major departments in Mushalpur College. This is the highest students' enrolled department in the college. Presently, the department is functioning by taking some additional services like departmental seminar, field study, symposia, with future plan of action to strengthen and enrich the teaching-learning, extension and research activities.

    The department of geography, under the school of earth sciences, is one of the departments which was established in Mushalpur College, Mushalpur affiliated to Bodoland University in the year - 2018. It started functioning from 2019 and currently offers (UG) undergraduate courses- Honours and General courses under the programmes of the study.
